Meet our new Instructional Design Intern - Madi Michael

Madi Michael is an intern with the Instructional Design team for UL's Fire Safety Research Institute (FSRI). She graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English Literature and is currently working towards her master’s degree in Instructional Design at Western Governor’s University. Madi has previously worked in youth development and community mental health, creating experiential learning opportunities for students and parents. She was born in Ethiopia and grew up in Washington DC, surrounded by a thriving immigrant community and lots of good food.
