On May 2nd, 2024, the Fire Safety Research Institute (FSRI), part of UL Research Institutes, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the United States Fire Administration (USFA) hosted a critical discussion to explore the latest developments in the National Emergency Response Information System (NERIS) and the forthcoming release of the Beta Data Schema. 

During this informative session, attendees learned about the recent progress and forthcoming steps for NERIS, delved into the newly launched beta version of the Core Data Schemas, and gained first-hand insights from Fire Chiefs actively testing the NERIS prototype.
