Training Advisory Committee
- Overview
- Updates
The Training Advisory Committee (TAC) provides the Fire Safety Research Institute (FSRI), part of UL Research Institutes, with expertise and guidance for current and planned educational activities. Through feedback and discussion, TAC members’ recommendations enhance the relevance of FSRI’s education and training offerings. Such offerings include the Fire Safety Academy, an online learning platform with free firefighting training courses designed for real-world application. TAC members also help facilitate the involvement of FSRI leaders and team members with various stakeholders.
The TAC consists of well qualified and passionate professionals who represent fire departments from around North America and serve two-year terms as TAC members. Throughout their terms, TAC members will work with FSRI's instructional design experts to share professional experience, knowledge, and insights to inform the trajectory of education and training offerings and reach new users.
