Meet our new Laboratory Technician - Joseph Johnson
Joseph Johnson is a Laboratory Technician with the Fire Safety Research Insitute (FSRI), part of UL Research Institutes and assists the team in both bench-scale and full-scale research with fabrication, instrumentation, and firefighting among other day-to-day duties. He has been with FSRI since the summer of 2021. Joseph is a current student studying Mechanical Engineering at Montgomery College. Additionally, Joseph is a volunteer Firefighter/EMT with the Bethesda – Chevy Chase Rescue Squad and Morningside Volunteer Fire Department.
Since joining the team last summer, Joseph has been a great asset to the team! Just over the last few months, he has contributed to the Hose Stream Mechanics Toolkit through the meticulous creation of the prop's construction plans and dimensioned drawings.
