FSRI Welcomes New Education and Training Specialist

Byron Dixon is an education and training specialist for the Fire Safety Research Institute (FSRI), part of UL Research Institutes. In his role, Byron collaborates with his team members to develop education and training outputs that share evidence-based tactics and the findings of FSRI’s research with the fire service. Byron earned his Bachelor of Arts in communication and instructional design from Delaware State University. With over ten years of experience in training and development with the Department of Defense, Byron is excited to contribute his skills to enable others to make better and more fire-safe decisions. Out of the office, Byron is a distinguished toastmaster, avid sports fan, podcaster, and big family man.
