Monday, April 7 | 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

• Session Title: Tactical Considerations for Research-Based Public Education
• Speaker(s): Jennifer Williams and Brian Brush 
• Description:  A 4-hour workshop on translating research-based fireground knowledge to fire safety actions for the public.  

• Session Title: The State of Data: Transitioning to NERIS
• Speaker(s): Craig Weinschenk
• Description:  A 4-hour workshop on the state of fire service data and the transition from NFIRS to the National Emergency Response Information System (NERIS).

**Monday's 4-hour workshops require additional registration. Make sure to add them individually to your registration. 

Wednesday, April 9 | 10:30 a.m. -12:15 p.m.

• Session Title: The Residential Playbook
• Speaker(s): Keith Stakes
• Description: A classroom session to learn ideal execution of suppression methods and how to best coordinate efforts with both ventilation and search tactics to maximize firefighter safety and victim survivability.

Thursday, April 10 | 10:30 a.m. -12:15 p.m.

• Session Title: Evidence-Based EV Firefighting
• Speaker(s): Adam Barowy and Nate Sauer
• Description: A classroom session where attendees will learn the difference between electric vehicle and gas-powered vehicle fire behavior and considerations for size-up and electric vehicle firefighting incident response.

1:30 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.

• Session Title: Examining the Mayday: What can be learned?
• Speaker(s): Daniel Madrzykowski and Mark McKinnon
• Description: A classroom session to learn about common issues on the fireground involving situational awareness, PPE, size-up and more

3:30 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.

• Session Title: Search & Rescue: A Story of Isolation and Ventilation
• Speaker(s): Craig Weinschenk
• Description: A classroom session to learn how coordinated suppression, isolation, and ventilation can be leveraged to provide the best conditions for searching firefighters and potentially trapped occupants.

Friday, April 11 | 8:30 a.m. - 10: 15 a.m.

• Session Title: What We Know About Smoke Explosions, Backdrafts, and Other Overpressure Events
• Speaker(s): Daniel Madrzykowski, Charley Fleishmann, and John Ceriello 
• Description: A classroom session to learn how both common and unique features to look for to recognize potential overpressure events or explosive hazards that can lead to firefighter injuries and deaths.

10:30 a.m. -12:15 p.m.

• Session Title: This Stuff Stinks! Smoke from Lithium-Ion Battery Fires
• Speaker(s): Gavin Horn and Richard Keller
• Description: A classroom session to learn evidence-based measures to implement to protect firefighters from exposure hazards related to fires involving lithium-ion batteries during emergency response, in the fire apparatus, and at the station.
