Alexis Castillo is a research amplification coordinator with the Fire Safety Research Institute (FSRI), part of UL Research Institutes. Alexis joined the research amplification team as a communications intern in January 2023 before joining as a full-time member in September 2024. She collaborates with other members of the research and research amplification teams to lead communication for various projects and programs. Alexis graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in communication and a minor in leadership studies.
